Here are the Referees for the Simba vs Yanga Match
AHMED Arajiga has been announced as the referee for the Mainland Premier League match scheduled to be played at Mkapa Stadium on March 8, 2025, where the two giants are expected to meet Yanga and Simba.
It should be noted that Arajiga was the referee for the Mzizima Dabi match played at Mkapa Stadium after 90 minutes, the scoreboard read Simba 2-2 Azam FC when the two giants shared one point after the game was completed.
It should be noted that in the first round match, Ramadhan Kayoko was the referee but in the second round, his name is not on the list of referees. In that match, after 90 minutes, the scoreboard at Mkapa Stadium read Simba 0-1 Yanga, Kelvin Kijili’s own goal lasted until the end of the game.
Karim Boimanda, the Information Officer of the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB), has said that the percentage of preparations is very high due to everything being in good order, while naming those who will be in charge of the game.
Salim Singano, Mohamed Mkono, (assistant referee number one) from Tanga Kassim Mpanga, (assistant referee number two) from Dar, Amina Kyando, (reserve referee) from Morogoro, Soud Abdi from Dar are some of the officials in the game that is expected to be highly competitive. The central referee will be Ahmed Arajiga.
