Sure Boy Opens Up About His Time With Yanga

Yanga attacking midfielder, Salum Abubakar ‘Sure Boy,’ has made it clear that under coach Miguel Gamondi, every player in the Yanga squad has a chance to play, as long as they show individual effort. Sure Boy, who plays in the same position as Mudathir Yahya, Clatous Chama, Stephane Aziz Ki, Duke Abuya and Pacome Zouzoua, said the competition in numbers has been important in enhancing the quality of the team and all the players.
The former Azam FC midfielder, admitted that despite the challenge of getting a chance to play regularly, he has been showing changes in his play and taking advantage of opportunities when he gets a chance to play. He stressed, Yanga has many capable players, and coach Gamondi gives equal opportunity to every player, while considering the individual effort and contribution of each.
Speaking about the competition within the squad, Sure Boy said the challenge of quality exists in every area, and that the major changes in play he has seen since he joined Yanga have been contributed to the team’s big plans and strategies.
