This Yanga Midfielder Requests to Terminate his Contract

Singida Black Stars midfielder Aziz Andambwile, who is on loan at Yanga, has been left in a state of shock and has decided to do something to put himself in a better position before things get worse for him.
Andambwile, who has a three-year contract with Singida, who are currently fourth in the Mainland Premier League standings with 38 points from 21 matches, has yet to show his mettle with the Yanga squad as he has been injured for a long time and is now recovering under coach Miloud Hamdi.
The attacking midfielder has reportedly submitted an official letter to the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), requesting to terminate his three-year contract with the Sunflower Sellers.
Andambwile has taken this decision just eight months since he signed a contract with Singida BS, before moving to Yanga on loan, which has raised many questions about his future.
The attacking midfielder, who can also play as a central defender, has missed Yanga’s number due to injuries that have kept him out of the field since the team was under Miguel Gamondi who was removed in favor of Sead Ramovic who has also left for CR Belouizdad of Algeria.
Andambwile has confirmed the report and explained that he made the decision due to some important aspects of the contract not being implemented by Singida, who is in fourth place in the Premier League.
The midfielder said; “It is true that we have gone to TFF to submit a request to terminate my contract with Singida BS. So let’s wait and see what happens, but the truth is that there are things that are not right and I cannot currently talk about them openly,” said Andambwile when contacted by Mwananchi.
According to a statement from the TFF’s Legal and Players’ Status Committee, which is overseen by Chairman Said Soud, Andambwile’s complaint is among the many that they have received and will continue to review and address them.
This comes just a short time after another Singida BS player, Benson Mangolo, left the club. Mangolo, a left-back from Botswana, terminated his contract and returned to his homeland.
Unlike Andambwile, Mangolo sat down with the club’s leaders and reached an agreement to end his contract amicably. At present, Singida Black Stars are yet to receive an official letter from TFF regarding Andambwile’s request.
As for Andambwile, there has been hope of a return to the field, with him confident of getting a place after recovering from injuries under coach Miloud Hamdi, however, the former Mbeya City star has a job to fight for to get a number in the team’s first team.
At the beginning of the season, Gamondi tried to use Andambwile in the central defender position but in reality, he is a midfielder occupying the position which for Yanga has been played by Khalid Aucho.
Before landing at Yanga, Andambwile made a name for himself with Mbeya City and attracted Singida Big Stars to sign him and serve for the past two seasons before the team was renamed last season to be known as Singida Fountain Gate and on July 9 this year, he joined Yanga on loan.
In addition to playing in the country, records show that Andambwile has played for Malawi in two different teams, Kalonga Utd and Nyasa Big Bullets, before being signed by Mbeya City in the 2020-2021 season.
No Singida BS leader was available to clarify Andambwile’s claims, but the case is already at the Legal and Players Status Committee to begin hearing and issue a decision.
