Eng Hersi, Says Next Season Will Bring This Steel For Work

EBU has drawn a picture of the Yanga attack next season with Prince Dube and Clement Mzize with a total of 20 goals, with Jonathan Sowah who has started to show his strength in the Mainland Premier League with Singida Black Stars.

Sowah has been in long-term talks with Yanga leaders since last season’s CAF Champions League when the striker was playing for Ghana’s Medeama, where he comes from, but the deal fell through and he ended up in Libya where he joined Al-Nasr.

According to the information obtained, it is stated that even when he was in Libya, the leaders continued to communicate with him closely, stating that if Dube had not been signed at the beginning of the season, then Sowah would have ended up in Jangwani.

Despite the fact that Yanga’s attack currently seems to be a hotbed of attacking options, the bosses still want to add more strength by adding another natural center forward and their eyes are on Sowah with three goals in the last four league games.

Who will replace him? Inside information says, Sowah who currently has four goals since he started serving Singida Black Stars, will replace Kennedy Musonda whose stay at Yanga was due to the previous coach Sead Ramovic after seeing the striker’s numbers with his Zambian national team that he carried in the Afcon qualification rush.

Before the game against Yanga which Singida Black Stars lost by 2-1, Sowah openly admitted his desire to play for Yanga due to the love he has for president Hersi Said.

He was quoted as saying, “Yanga is my home. The President of Yanga is like a father for all he has done for me. I believe that one day I will play for Yanga with greater success. Yanga is my home, even when I got the Singida offer I told them.”

“The President of Yanga is like a father, I know what he did for me and shaped my life, I am not Tanzanian but I like the way Tanzanians receive people, it is a matter of time, one day I will play for Yanga.”

According to the source, it is stated that communication has already been made between Singida Black Stars and Yanga regarding the player’s trade.

On the other hand, Yanga are taking steps to strengthen their attack line to ensure that they continue to be good and a threat from domestic to international competitions.

The arrival of Sowah, who has shown great potential, aims to add strength to the team which is said to have a good tendency to win titles.

However, if the issue of this player succeeds, it will be a blow to Singida Black Stars, which currently seems to rely on Sowah’s contribution in the attack line.

HIS STYLE

Completely different from Mzize and Dube who can come from the side and be flexible, Sowah is a natural central striker with special qualities to fight tough defenders.

He has great ability to use his body, especially in possession of aerial balls and breaking the chains of defenders with force. This makes him a dangerous player in front of the goal, as he can fight against brutal defenders.

Sowah’s ability to get into the right position in the danger zone is also one of his main weapons. This is different from players like Dube and Mzize, who rely more on quick tactics and the ability to come from the side, but Sowah uses his natural strength and technique to challenge the opposing team’s defenders.

Therefore, the signing of Sowah will be a great advantage for Yanga as he will complete the attack line well by bringing in a player with a fighting talent in the central position, where Yanga needs a player of that type who also knows how to finish the position.
